I am not saying you CANNOT learn languages when you get older. Im not saying that at all. You can learn a language in youre 80s if you wanted to.
You just cannot learn it to the same level as someone who started at 4 or younger. Even if on the outside you function just as well, the way your brain processes language on the inside wont be as fast as the person who learned it at 4. Youre default thinking wont ever switch to another language. Like I think in french often. And I dont mean people thinking in English for a bit while being around English. Im talking default inner voice language swap.Wait
