This is true, it’s why early intervention with autism is so important because if someone is none verbal past 5 they’ll never have the language capabilities as someone who spoke at a normal time.
It also goes with multiple languages.
It’s a fact, its literally like the whole premise of my dad’s masters lol
The Jeanie girl from the US if you are aware of that case is a very sad example of this
I have no idea what’s going on.

You can still learn the language at a high level and be fluent, you just wont be able to default think in it. You’ll always have to quickly translate in your head. Which can be so fast you dont notice a difference, but its a different process
Your brain put the language in a diff half of your brain when you learn as an adult vs as a kid yeah
I believe you get the logical side of your brain as an adult and as a kid it’s the emotional
Or something to that effect
I have no idea what’s going on.

I told u

Also if you dont learn a language before youre like 4 or 5 youll never process and think in it like someone who did, youre neuroplasticty isnt there, fun fact
Sometimes i default think in english in my head if its like an "english" topic to me

Yeah youre right. It’s a part of your brain that closes off to changing when you get older. Im not sure about emotional versus logical but its a part Thats neuroplastic that no longer becomes neuroplastic after 5 or 6
Theres a massive difference between being bilugial at 4 and 18. 18 better than 25 but 4 is different
100% not disputing that part
Apparently it gets easier after your first “second” language tho

Can someone please enlighten me?

Wrong. If you’re a high functioning autisic savant, you could learn all languages.
