Kendrick prime isnt touching wayne prime
This is not an "abstrac" song, it prolly doesnt have a deeper meaning
Its a posse cut about niggas outrapping each other
And Wayne is the greatest of all time in that

Small review
it’s a lot to digest being there’s 22 songs, a third or so having beat-switches, but going off first listen these are some thoughts
It started off rather slow for me. The thriller interpolation obv tickled me as an MJ stan so that was a plus. The next songs kinda fall victim to the majority of Abel songs where his presence does little to love me. Up until ‘Baptized in Fear’ I feared this would end with another 6/10 rating but the writing on this track kinda surprised me. I dont think Purrp was lying when he said this has possibly the best writing on a weeknd album. The middle stretch of the album hit the most for me but most of the songs here have production quirks that appealed to my ears…Mike Dean, god bless ya.
I might have this ranked as my favorite Abel album, not entirely sure. I’m not huge on it like others itt, I think it still falls victim of the complaints Ive had for the guys music, but he showed up on the lyrical front and the production is hard to deny. Aside from his vocal performances on a good portion of tracks, my biggest issue is more compositional than anything else. The beat-switches and cool ass transitions go some ways to remedy this but yeah.
Thank you for your time.
@YungPapi
Glad you liked it / gave it a fair shot
I agree first bit I was like this is good a lil what i expected. As soon as baptized started and I heard the lyrics I was like OH?
middle is definitely peak but tbh personally every song was quality in some way like he didn’t miss at all
Ending third ish (last 5 tracks is where I was like okay this album is long now)

A;though people on here were glazing Wyoming sessions, just not Ye’s album. Wrongly I might add that album is fantastic. But youre right
