its stupid but honestly still think its overstated

maybe partly cuz i dont really love the nardwuar vibe as much as everyone else. but always seemed to me like they were also feeling disrespected by him or trolled and didnt understand what he was trying to do. and they returned it back and just ended up being d***s and going too far. and years later had no hard feelings involved or anything

First of all, youre crazy for not loving nardwuar, hes the best.
Secondly idk what they were thinking but they def came off as d***s
Thirdly yeah they made up a couple yeas later and it was 30 years ago so its just a meme now

i like the informative interview part but not fully the gimmick stuff. just my personal taste of enjoying watching no disrespect to him.

also seems like over the years his serious interview stuff grew much more, i cant really blame someone in the 90s being annoyed by him and thinking they were being treated as a joke

especially people like Sonic Youth who even though they were super groundbreaking they were still kinda pretentious and being from the super art-y type scene so they probably had a chip on their shoulder about not being recognized as true artistes like they thought they deserved
