The 1 thing holding this era up from being a complete wash is the Carti stimulus that helped him big time with Timeless.

I like Dawn FM but it was definitely less successful then After Hours and I think the 80s sound was the biggest factor in it. People don’t want that from him anymore.

I feel like it wasn’t the right time for Dawn FM to be released. If it was released today, it would have gotten much more fanfare imo.

There was already a lot of other 80s cosplay going on during that era and it kind of blended in.
