The main problem here is that you only seem to care about something when it’s going against what you’ve chosen as your team (the libs).
I’ve been talking about how big tech has over-encroached onto government and society in unethical ways for years. The libs have done literally nothing but defend the s*** out of big tech right until this exact moment. Nothing has changed but the team, which of course they will support whoever can make them the most money at the time.
Do I agree with it? Obviously not. Am I going to suddenly freak out over what’s been going on for a decade now? No. But perhaps if libs cared about it instead of exploiting it back then, we wouldn’t be where we are now.

I’m not personally sure what could be much worse than paid backroom meetings and deals with presidents and politicians to influence policy in a way to maximize benefits for their companies.
