ea sports games suck now cuz they're all about microtransactions and pay-to-win modes like ultimate team. they feel incomplete, recycle the same stuff every year, and remove features that used to be standard. ps2-era games had better franchise modes, more offline content, and felt like they were made for fun, not profit. now it's all online-focused and encourages kids to gamble with those stupid packs. plus, back then they had real competition so they had to innovate. now they just pump out the same game every year and focus on graphics instead of gameplay. ps2 games were just better and more pure.
