Circles was probably the best posthumous album that ever dropped though, atleast top 3.
Jon Brion did a masterful job piecing together that unfinished album and making it feel like Mac would’ve approved. You can’t say that for a lot of those posthumous albums.

It was definitely a slower album that unfortunately dropped the same day as the most hyped album that year but once the dust cleared and all that was left was the music, it got the appreciation it deserved.
Plus even if you thought Astroworld was better, there’s no way in f***ing hell YG’s was better
i forgot it dropped same day as Astroworld, but yeah come to think of it i remember thinking "i'll get into *this properly later on" rather than "this is s***".

It infuriated me to see the same people who were saying things like “it’s 2018 who cares about Mac Miller” deleting their posts after Mac died and putting up screenshots of them listening to Swimming. I’m all for people seeing the error in there ways, but it did not feel genuine at all.
