arkham knight's story is kind of dogshit apart from scarecrow's arc and even that is an eye roller, no stakes in the story they should've actually killed oracle to add depth, catwoman is completely neutered for no reason, batman would never engage with the riddler's dumb games when he knows this might be the end, hush not being the main villain and defaming bruce wayne, red hood being shoved in when there was 0 mention of him in any prior arkham game, and all of the bullshit about joker and his blood is absolute nonsense. the joker isn't a disease that removes the power from him, the fear is he's just 1 man and 1 hgrossly evil person, you can't be the joker but the devs just wanted to include a joker scene with the other villains when it could've just been a flashback anyway

only the freeze arc in knight is perfect which is a shame

I think knight has the worst story of the bunch. scarecrow is completely uninteresting to me as a main villian, catwoman pushed to the side like she wasn’t damn near a co lead in city. They kept being like Arkham knight isn’t red hood it’s not Jason it’s nottt…. Nigga why lie the story wasn’t good anyway so why lie. And then to top it all off suicide squad retcons all the weight of it with a f\*\*\*ing museum piece explaining what happened since knight. Batman just kinda comes out and is Batman full time bc everyone knows his identity. So stoopid
