i think a lot of the production in the 90s suffered from the industry being caught in a crossfire between being all digital and using the fresh but limited technology or doing it on old recording techniques

a lot of those 90s records across the board sound so plasticy to me and DIY

But I love it

she has one of the greatest collection of singles but albums are still extremely worth and essential to appreciate her

shes the inventor of the pop era after all

which she took big influence from Bowie and morphed it a bit and put in totally pop context. to make it less of a chameleon shifting as different people sort of thing. i think you as a bowie fan might find that part of her career interesting
