Rock music for yachts?
It was a subgenre that derived from the west coast in the late 70s to early 80s. Kind of a mix of Soft Rock, Pop Rock, Soul, Smooth Jazz, Disco and R&B. Its a comfortable sound that resonates with me because my Dad used to listen to a lot of s*** like The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Toto and Supertramp.
