I agree. I think there’s valid criticisms of cole but most of the ones on this site are stupid memes or very arbitrary
Like OP saying I don’t want cole to rappity rap on his album when this isn’t really any indication of that the album will sound like. It’s not like it’s a single
I kind of understand where OP is coming from in terms of wanting Cole to craft song songs again
I think he struck the balance nicely on Off Season
But again, this feels more like a quick mixtape then an album with real thought put into it

I wish Cole just hadn’t responded to Kendrick honestly if this is what he came with. There’s a lot more pressure for Drake to respond then there was with Cole. Kendrick barely even went at Cole, but you got Cole over here capping about his discography and saying no one would mention him when he did mention him on FPS.
