Prince didn’t show off as much as we would have liked imo but everytime he did it was super memorable and amazing so I’d prob overall still say him
I don’t really listen to Santana tbf and I don’t listen to John but I’ve heard many times his playing really good on the lowest of keys

elton is more improvisational than billy and does more flashy things live but the chords/voicings billy uses are a lot more deliberate and sophisticated, they're about the same level tbh
