i think there is that side for sure but country also has a bigger fanbase who aren't as insular or racist than people think. of course there is still that huge s***ty portion but I think there's enough (mostly female) country+pop fans who will like the album a lot and be able to bridge the gap in that way

basically just think whatever Kacey Musgraves core fanbase is, not quite the same as the most yeehaw country singers. also a market that the Nashville establishment hasn't tapped into nearly enough as they should. i can see some people dressing up for a Beyonce concert in a country style and certain groups of girls who like country and Beyonce/pop loving it.

also think there might be some more white and non-white Beyonce/pop fans who are more open to country than people think who might fw the album

so yeah i think itll be a mix of terrible discourse and the racist country fans mad but still a lot of bridge-crossing in terms of sound and the fans themselves
