Like some other artists I feel like he’s bigger than his music to the point that people’s hate or love of his stuff is influenced by so much more than just the music.

For example the aesthetic, his persona, how he treats the public and his fans, how his music is received by critics, by his fans, Twitter etc.

Idk if that's unique to Frank or even music in life. Regardless of the internet, even in real life some figures are so engrained in pop culture and have such strong influence, people automatically let their personal bias cloud their views. I'll use myself as an example, Prince definitely has some shady and SUSPECT moments in the late 80s in regards to dating younger women but it doesn't bother me. Now if this was someone else like idk Lionel Richie I'd be bringing it up regularly.
