I get that. Houdini has alright production but the second single was very meh
I think in their instance they aren’t going far enough. I think it was @atthepyramids saying that if Dua is gonna play in his wheelhouse she needs to lean all the way in. I think this applies to literally anyone going to him for production or else it’ll sound like a throwaway like you said

Reserving judgment for the album. KP is good for at least a few standouts but the writing on the the two singles has not wowed me at all. Houdini I get what they went for but the second single has an awful chorus/ progression for a pop song imo

still haven't peeped yet, will find some time this week haven't had much of a desire considering the pop stans in here besides kodak said it was your average ariana album
never cared that much for ariana's music as a whole so not high on my priority list but should be at least a 6/10 with 1 god level song
