smooth operator (10/10) classic. didnt know this was an intro, amazing start to an album.

your love is king (9/10) amazing song, her vocals are so smooth like warm butter and these lush sounds are great

hang on to your love (9/10) infectious ass bassline, great chorus, stellar song

frankies first affair (8.5/10) im a fan of the drum pattern selection, very calm and hollow instrumental, not bad

when am i going to make a living (10/10) this song is perfect, no comments

cherry pie (10/10) another perfect track wow, that bassline intro was amazing i love the way this whole track progresses

sally (10/10) reminds me of a classic michael jackson/motown cut, amazing production

i will be your friend (10/10 my god these instrumentals are amazing, i can tell its being played live

why cant we live together (10/10) perfect outro, amazing way to end this album

promise (8.9/10)

is it a crime (9.5) MF DOOM sample, automatic classic but besides that my goodness i love her voice and those bongos

the sweetest taboo (10/10) flawless.

war of the hearts (8/10) first calm song to me, i love the percussion and her voice the most on this one

youre not the man (8.5/10) very slow start but im in love with the middle half of this song, really picked up fror me

jezebel (9/10) these sounds in the instrumental are both hypnotic and soothing, her voice is amazing as usual

mr wrong (8.5/10) pretty chill, her percussive loops are always a standout

punch drunk (10/10) i love a good instrumental. this is firing off on all cylinders

never as good as the first time (9/10) what i would consider the essential sade sound

fear (7/10) kinda slow for me, pretty western vibes on here but the middle is nice

tar baby (9/10) vaporwave sample, i had no idea. amazing song. that saxophone

maureen (10/10) goddamnit this woman knows how to close out an album the right way. this is a beautiful tune.

love is stronger than pride (8.5/10) this reminds me of a song off andre 3000s flute album, specifically track 3

paradise (10/10) this is really audio perfection. tempo is grooving but the sounds are very calm and non-intense. im amazed.

nothing can come between us (10/10) this is really groovy, i love this vibe so far of the album so far

haunt me (9.5/10) nah this is what you call a beautifully haunting loop. her vocals are so soft here.

turn my back on you (8.5/10) cool lil late 80s groove, very much inspired by the rise of hip hop at the time

keep looking (9.5/10) wow sade makes amazing music, i am continuously being shown amazing range of her vocals

clean heart (10/10) marry me sade. pls.

give it up (10/10) her use of percussion in her songs is my favorite thing about sade next to her soft serenading voice

i never thought id see the day (9/10) this is the song i wanna listen to on a shroom trip fr. so many textures.

siempre hay esperanza (10/10) nah i love this woman. she doesnt miss on outros. im amazed.
