    Coming from someone who makes music as well though, I feel like “it” is truly subjective and based on how you hone your craft and sheer luck.

    That’s why I always tell other artists coming up to work on their songwriting skills and focus on making great music because it really does make a difference. Tyler said he started learning how to actually write songs for Flower Boy and it showed on that album and the ones following.

    Hmm that’s true but to me there’s also a universal “it” which to me is a hallmark of undeniable music. That timeless, universal crossover type music which to me is the Beatles idk
