My point is our reading, writing and math scores are dog s*** compared to most other developed nations. Hell compared to supposed third world communist countries like cuba.
its f***ed on so many levels too. like the way the system is but also just the whole culture and attitude toward education too. been building up for decades idk how we could fix the problem

Yeah I don’t really either. I thought about just instituting a National curriculum and getting most of the outside money out of public education.
Most of the issues come down to whose lobbying and influencing the stupidity and historical white washing we see
But there’s def more needed. Like how even teach and stuff
