I don't think he makes consistent all the way thru type of albums

But his highs r very high

And his lows are utterly exhausting

So to me one amazing track off an overall bad album beats

A consistent mid album with no redeeming qualities

surprised me with how good it was, its a tossup between it and Heathen and Blackstar for which latter day Bowie era albums i enjoy most

Yeah Heathen and The Next Day are both good albums for sure

over my whole Bowie fandom the one that grew on me the most is surprisingly Diamond Dogs. s*** is fire af, really like the slight soul/funk influence starting to creep in alongside the weird cocaine induced apocalyptic themes. all the songs besides outro are really catchy to me
