Young Americans still his best album

Album boring as f*** so far

you guys paused right?

for purrp

Insane take lmao

He’s out of his experimental phase now but MAN it’s just so generic and boring now

OP loves the young American

Yea

Seven is next when he gets his hair eliminated

Not that insane

It’s in my top 10 atleast

oh boy

Sht had me wanting to dance

That much I agree

If he said Lodger was his best he’d be insane

i dont fully get that impression tbh, hes still trying to copy others but i dont think the full on music hall style ditching rock instruments was really in vogue in 1967 even in the UK

@Prince

hours is my least fav bowie album so far (i think)

im finishing til the end

honestly not minding the album. going back and forth between bored and kinda liking the vibe

That’s crazy

This is pure insanity

I get he’s going for a more calmer subdued pop vibe with this but I don’t think it works at all. He’s best when he’s pushing himself a little production wise.

agreed but theres still a slight weirdness that keeps it from being totally boring for me. id put maybe 3-4 albums below this

i can also see the progression into the next few albums which are definitely better imo. dont really sound like this but they sound super far from other 80s-90s bowie

i think art should make you feel something, good or bad. hours gives me absolutely nothing to cling to.

boring < bad

im having trouble figure out what he was even trying to do

also what the f*** the cover and title mean and how they relate to any of this vision at all
