for some reason the weird clankiness and slowness of the instrumental part made me like it more over time than Low. i think it comes together in a really interesting way. the albums complement each other really well anyway. Low is still futuristic but more of an outdoorsy way and Heroes is like being in some futuristic metallic chamber or something

Eno used three diff mics placed at diff spaces from bowie which would turn on when his voice reached them then slowly raised the volume of the music during recording to get that strained passionate performance on that track
