Fr everyone kinda has their own views (no pun intended) on his discog. It’s hard to pinpoint which album is his best.

I think from more life to dark lane demo tapes was sort of a slump where his albums became stale but CLB was refreshing albeit not my favorite at all and HNVM is just my favorite drake album so he kinda redeemed hiself in my eyes. Didn’t really like Her Loss tho it felt soulless and I didn’t like the misogynistic lyrics on it at all

The nostalgia definitely has a big role because most of those albums were split apart from maybe blonde but even by 2018 it felt like everyone was loving those albums
