but i do love frankly mr shankly tho lol, i actually really loved the queen is dead outside of vicar in a tutu & some girls are bigger than others, i genuinely feel like if they swapped those 2 songs out with something different that fit the vibe a bit more it could be a perfect album
i love Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others as a closer (anti-closer) tbh, i like the contrast of the weird lyrics and the beautiful guitar part (one of Marr's best ever) and how the music itself just fades perfectly
i think it fits more with what they were going for than if they put a song with serious or sad lyrics at the end, or let There Is a Light That Never Goes Out be the closer. the very british sardonicism and that attitude also helps that album/the band not be a total "woe is me" type of depressive band. which in turn makes the sad ones hit harder

it does make the sadder songs hit a bit harder.. u are right
i’m gonna relisten 2 all of their albums again @ a later time & not just dismiss them off of 2 listens with this in mind.. cuz morrissey is very cheeky lol
