2018 was the perfect time for him to drop his album. He would’ve spent 2019 touring and promoting it and working on a 2nd album during COVID to release in 2021.

You could make the arguement but I think it’s bullshit when he dropped an EP worth of songs in 2018 that was better then 95% of his actual album.
