id never buy a record that was unncessarily split into so many parts anyway

a 87-minute atmospheric ambient album is harmed by the fact that you have to take pauses to switch the sides 5 times. only 14 minutes per side, dont see why it couldnt have been 2 LPs

not as egregious as the MBDTF vinyl which IIRc was like 68 minutes split onto 3 LPs. and some of the sides only had one song on them

thats one of the reasons i generally dont buy vinyl for newer albums, or at least ones that were clearly designed for CD era and s*** like that. maybe ill buy a shorter 1LP shorter new album here and there but id rather collect older good condition used vinyl then spend a bunch on brand new pressings 90s classics that weren't originally released in the format
