yeah its just thicker/heavier (pause) but in reality the sound quality isnt necessarily better its just another way to market.
"180G PREMIUM AUDIOPHILE QUALITY EXCLUSIVE VINYL"
some of the best sounding pressings can be super thin or they can be 180g/200g or w/e
also funny how the heavier ones can have issues with some cheaper record players
