Artists nowday dont even have the chance to drop a "bad" album. Like if Nas come out today after Nastradamus his career would be over

Like a Camillimanemusic is too much of a commodity these days, primarily because of streaming. no need to waste time spinning an album you're so/so about because after 1 listen you can just delete it and go find something new
back in the day (crine) you spent 20-30 bucks on a record and would listen over and over and if you still hated it, well it was a dud. factor in all the packaging and words on the album itself you felt a closer connection to the artist and album, u get none of that s*** on spotify or AM
