idk im somewhere in between with the "I should be able to use it however the f*** I want" thing
like for example the religious artists that dont want their work sampled in super explicit songs or something, etc. and just the idea of the artist being able to say no in general to their own s*** being used by someone else. the idea of just because art was released mean its fair game to do anything feels more like the devaluing of art/taking more control away from artists who made it

Nah I disagree tbh because that allows lesser known artists to be taken advantage of by big artists and never blow up. Like somebody has a flash of genius and somebody big just takes it before they get any cred
