The mid steppers is good
I love Mr Morale. Kendrick Lamar is in my top 3 rappers tbh
i think its for a few reasons. most recent is itunes thing (lol) but there are generations of people who hated on u2 just from overexposure of them being so huge. and for the fact that theyre mostly pop rock (nothing wrong with that).
people also started hating on Bono especially because they perceived him as pretentious, with the grandiose style plus political statements/activism they might have perceived as preachy. i think thats overblown though i think so many music figures are way more unlikeable. hes also rich af so people prob see him as an elite
ah, so it’s less about the actual music then. I shouldve assumed this was the case lol

You really not feeling too good nowadays?
nah man
going thru their most popular songs and yeah i recognize a good amount of stuff here
didnt think i would
yeah i recognized some just from them being of my parent's generation probably. some iconic generational anthems
Me too lol

Amazing amazing album
Come the 2030s and Drake/Cole/Kendrick Will probably be viewed by the youth the same way the youth views rappers like Jay & Nas today.
The Beatles were literally the most in and hip band at one point and now they’re looked at as old overrated crackers by a good amount of the youth. That’s just what happens when time is moving. You aren’t always going to be adored by younger people. Those younger people who adored you grew up and became older and the new younger people don’t have the same connection.
When we on ktt30 and majority users in their 60-70 are arguing with the youth calling Drake/Cole/Kendrick dust
I legit used to get so annoyed when doot would post Kend297k and The Mid Steppers because EVERYONE would like and RT that s***

Only one who really broke through generational barriers is Ye man
Correct
Always made his mark in culture, which probably had to do with him recognizing upcoming talent early on and intertwining his music with current fashion and setting trends.
He never aged himself despite me strongly disagreeing with him about certain things.
The Jewish s*** certainly did the most damage to his entire career aside from the Taylor s*** though.
Never listened to U2 but baby I love you, too
Nice line

maybe partially music too, definitely not for everyone ig. some of the songs could be seen as cheesy. or younger people thinking they know real artsy music like Radiohead and wrongfully looking down as U2 as basic
like the goated ballad With or Without You. i love it but can see why people would hate it

That’s precisely why he would post it.
It never bothered me because I knew it was for likes and engagement and slandering Kendrick on Drake To The is easy likes.
