Lyrics obviously have a greater emphasis in hip hop but in terms of actual music I listen to, lyrics are always dead last to me.

Like I can really enjoy a song if the lyrics are still average. But if the music surrounding the lyrics isn’t on par, yeah that definitely takes away from my enjoyment.
