I think this site has a fear of aging and becoming the oldheads they made fun of during the soundcloud era, so like the idea of young artists who grew up on carti being influenced by him makes them uncomfortable

Influence is good when like the influenced artist does something fresh or new with it. Most of the Carti influenced songs would be better if Carti was on them instead.
