it’s so much more apparent on rewatch 2, i caught so many lil details & clues that were right there the whole time

It was super slow, though. I did enjoy it a lot from episode 6 on but it took that long for me to get hooked.

why did Camille keep drinking the poison knowing it was poison, just spit it out god damn

also I still don’t get why her editor was so invested in her and called her cubby, I thought it was going to turn out to be her real dad or sum but they never explained it

cubby = a young & inexperienced journalist, i didn’t quite understand that until i looked it up

as far as why she kept drinking the poison.. it was so she could take all of her moms attention away from amma, she was being selfless || that’s why the twist hits that much harder lol she was playing in2 her munchausen’s syndrome

I mean I get that but she could easily just have called the police (her damn boyfriend) and got Amma to get blood work done to prove what was going on, instead of incapacitating herself beyond help; plus that cop was already digging up dirt on his own and she knew it so it wouldn’t be a far fetched accusation

Yeah, I get I’m being nitpicky and it’s more complicated but I hate the trope of “character disregards every simple solution and does the most to make things worse and then random other character comes out of nowhere to save the day”

yeh it was a bit cheesy but overall i felt like it worked, it’s not perfect by any means & honestly the crimes should have been solved in a few days & not dragged out 4 so long but then there wouldn’t be a show ya know lol
