This one took the longest to do, pretty much all reproductions of the cover look washed except for some early japanese editions. Most originals are washed over time as well. Same goes for Blonde on Blonde where most people think it was supposed to be washed because all US pressings are super washed and blonde looking, they don't take into account the US LPs would wash quicker than the UK LPs because the UKs were laminated, the US's were on some matte bardboard with an acidic base.

this one ain't quite finished but is pretty much there.

The reissued artwork on streaming platforms made some odd decisions like stretching the fingers, reshaping stripes on the left knee, removing part of a shadow beside the arm. Also, the green stripes were less visible and the colours looked too lightened. I found the best scan I could, which was just 876x, and I edited it towards the original 1992 LPs by repositioning the text and colour correcting using a bunch of photos of 1st pressings for reference.

All pressings removed blemished from his face and airbrushed him (even original US pressings) except for Japan

retrieved crushed blacks

original cover

another one where people think it was supposed to be washed in orange because of how it aged
I did a lot more but I posted enough lol
here's a thread where i did Lil Wayne mixtape covers, some of em upscaled and restored, others completely remade like my Da Drought 3 which took the longest out of them
