I wouldn't go that far but I think he's a Top 5 producer. I'd put him up there with Brian Eno, Phil Spector, Babyface, etc.

but also i just dont think his/neptunes signature sound is as magic as yall all seem to. its still good to me ofc, creative and occasionally super fire. but its just not all time goat to my ears

a lot of this site grew up during his prime and he's still quite good, never really fell off

yeah him with phil spector and eno is wild to me. taking the best songs ive heard from each of them including neptunes eno and spector are so far above
cant speak as much on babyface since im not as big of an R&B head as most of yall itt

I put him high on my list because of his spacey and smooth production, not because of his hits. I'd put this over Milkshake or Alright any day
