I took guitar and piano classes for 3-4 years and took music theory for 1-2 I can't remember

But I didn't really retain it cus I didn't give a darn

before i met my now gf i went on a date and hooked up with this one girl i went to HS with except i didnt remember her whatsoever

i told her about the school i went to and she was like “yeah, i know. we was in the same grade. i liked you.” It was awkward for a couple mins.

Guitar is dramatically harder to play than piano

Also guitars are very expensive

I feel as though you can at least find an affordable piano to learn basic stuff on that feels ok enough

Guitars are like if you try to not spend a decent amount you end up with this thing that feels terrible

I see cheap used electric pianos all the time

The only cheap guitars I see are poopy

and they require more maintenance with the constant tuning, restringing not to mention the hassle that comes along with electric guitar amps, cables, and pedals.

Be honest 75% or probably more want to learn to play electric not acoustic

Guitar is cooler though. I’ve never attempted to lift up a grand piano and play it behind my back but I imagine its really difficult.
