i can’t gauge whether or not u will like this but it’s an essential neo soul album of the 00’s, it has some of his best songs on there & my personal favorite song of all time - “love”

i will say this tho, i prefer this album over brown sugar & voodoo but it ultimately comes down 2 personal taste, i’m not saying the album is better than those but i’d put this on b4 those 2

no i’m not saying it’s better i just prefer it over voodoo & brown sugar

like it’s just an easier listen & the music is easier 2 vibe 2, at least 4 me personally

musiq is more lush of an artist than dangelo is, it’s very hard 2 even compare them 2 each other honestly i don’t know why i’m even trying lol

dangelo got put on this pedestal of being the king of neo soul & while i love dangelo as much as the next person i genuinely believe there are so many better neo soul albums than voodoo & brown sugar

like so many better 1’s.. it’s like people only know dangelo & erykah badu & dismiss the rest of the genre
