Basically we’re gonna see rap’s 2000s indie phase with a creative renaissance that I believe will inadvertently leave the genre without a general consensus on what “defines” it
Hell, you could argue we’re already there
We not at a renaissance yet. We in the dark ages like Disney was in the 80s, but I predict within the next 2-3 years we will see something that reinvigorates rap the way EDM was reinvigorated the last couple of years.
