Rap is stagnating. There are a lot of big names but tbh ain’t been no undeniably huge superstars in a few years
Also no purposely innovative radio s***. Back in the aughts you had Neptunes and Timbo making the most unconventional beats into major pop and rap hits
Idk on the last part maybe it’s bc of streaming we don’t see people purposely aim for that anymore
