WESLEYS THEORYI just feel like he could drop anything these days and someone will find a way to defend it.
Like, he still drops great songs. But the expectation of quality, the bar has been lowered a bit. Cuz I hear those songs as someone who’s been a fan of Drake for years and I legit don’t see it. It really does sound like A.I at times. Like it was put in a computer generator. Versus when I hear something like “Look what you’ve done” that doesn’t need anyone to explain why it’s so good.
I agree 100% as a drake Stan I’ll still call his s*** trash when it is. Most of the drake Stan’s on this site won’t. S&R just has a fun chorus and some mindless catchy lines it’s not that it’s anywhere near peak drake.
Atp I don’t expect him to wow me even tho I fall for the hype of his new album every goddamn time. Her Loss was actually worth the hype to me tho I liked it best thing he’s done in a while
