save me’s review of wish

the 1st 4 tracks are sequenced so perfectly, then we get 2 wendy time through friday i’m in love & i just didn’t enjoy that stretch.. they’re good songs but it got way 2 poppy 4 my liking. the songwriting on here is excellent as always, if there’s 1 thing i can count on loving with a cure album it’s their lyrics. this is a mixed bag in terms of how it made me feel.. i might need a 2nd listen 2 really absorb a few songs but overall i enjoyed it.. listening 2 friday i’m in love again & it sounds amazing outside of the context of the album, very strange

a letter 2 elise - this song is absolutely gorgeous, definitely in my top 5 cure songs.. 10/10

apart - unbelievable song.. the intro, the lyrics, the music.. just amazing 9/10

it’s a toss up between wendy time & friday i’m in love.. they’re fine songs but man they don’t fit this album 2 me.. probably friday i’m in love honestly
