Madlib is insane on the beats but I'm not surprised when people see him more of like a DJ than a producer.. but man, he's got some insane beats. Preemo said he's the only guy whos been able to carry the torch that Dilla lit

i feel u. talib has a long enough discog (unlike mos) that his catlogue is similar or bigger than the roots in volume.

in terms of quality (no pun intended), i agree with you that the roots wash him easily. their discog is way way stronger.

problem is the roots are disrespected on here in general.

cant stop this is my favorite dilla track ever. and i know its a beat they used posthumously but black thought's verses on there are some of my favorite verses of all time

that outro of it is also a Dilla beat so i've heard, sounds like some late stuff, '06 probably
