I don’t understand when to bid more, let me tell you my strategy and you tell me

I count A and K, and all spades in excess of 3 plus if I have like 1 or 2 of a suit I count that as 1 extra

If I have AK and 6 of the same suit with those, then I only count 1 instead of both A and K

The guy we were playing against had like a 97% win rate in his profile so the fact we got that close I’ll take

Also when i have 5 of a suit and the A I play the ace first idk if that’s correct but I’m scared someone will throw away their single Diamond into something else and I’ll lose my ace
