Tidal HiFi undoubtedly sounds fantastic, and the difference between that and Tidal’s High setting is pretty remarkable. For instance, on the track Gitans, I could hear vocal reverbs and harmonies I’d never heard before. The audio movement was so much clearer; I could easily place where each sound was coming from. The soundstage also felt much more spacious, and the depth of sound more rich and immersive.
It kind of makes you wonder what the hell you’ve been listening to all this time.
