the drums and that guitar line on this man

LOVE LOVE LOVE the vocal delivery too

Might be a hot take but I think Paul’s true vocal peak was the 70’s, not the 60s.

He probably had a little more range in the 60s, but the way he played with his singing and really pushed himself in that decade.

Paul sings like a rapper raps, just a bunch of confidence, different pockets he goes into, memorable cadences and confidence most importantly

Jeff just sat down and said, “OK, what are we gonna do?” and Bob said, “Let’s do one like Prince! hahaha.” And he just started banging away, “Love your sexy body! Oooh-oooh-oooh-oooh bay-bee!” And it just turned into that tune.

    Here’s a fun fact for y’all that don’t know.

In the 70s, John and Paul reunited once in the studio in 1974. The music they made was just loose jams of covers, but what’s cool about it was that this session also had Stevie Wonder and Harry Nillson there playing with them.

The music is trash which is why no one ever talks about it, but it’s a really cool little moment in music history.

Yoko may not have directly broken up The Beatles, but she definitely put a wedge between John and Paul.

John was gonna write and record with Paul on Venus and Mars but days before he was set to go to New Orleans to meet with Paul, Yoko told him she was pregnant and he dropped everything for her.
