well, f*** me running brother this was fantastic. what an outstanding improvement from 3 imaginary boys, it’s crazy what a little creative control can do. as previously stated, i can tell there was a lot of thought that went behind these songs & it’s apparent when it comes to the lyrics. they’re simple yet poignant. a little abstract & esoteric, very poetic but still wonderful. & the music is unbelievable. robert’s voice is great & i can’t imagine how it gets better than this but i’m excited 2 continue along this journey. i’m a fan already just off of this album

save me’s review of faith
what a depressing listen, even down right demoralizing at times. very emotionally draining lyrically. i knew what i was getting myself in2 but damn.. some of these themes are downright bleak as f***. & the music matches it in the most beautiful way possible. a great album, definitely not something i can put on at any time of the day, it’s mood music 4 sure.
i feel the need 2 highlight “faith” 2 get my point across on why i feel this way:

The idea of perfection holds me

Everything at once the same
But the mountain never moves

And stand, lost forever in a happy crowdlike man.. if that isn’t hopelessness then i don’t know what is. but it resonates with my soul on a level i can’t even fully begin 2 explain. lots of religious themes throughout the album. lots & lots of trauma.. it’s everywhere. but beneath it all there’s still faith…

faith - this is my favorite song by them so far on this journey, hit me like a ton of f***ing bricks man.. i don’t even know what else 2 say

primary - it connected a bit better on 2nd listen, the lyrics are great but if i had 2 pick a least favorite song it’s this.. doesn’t mean it’s bad though

watched a pretty detailed video on him recently, can’t remember the channel but i was like damn
