It's funny because they were neck and neck and were considered rivals at one point but Fergie won over the next generation with ease thanks to Black Eyed Peas later career. Gwen took too many years off and when she returned it wasn't the same. At least Fergie had a semi-hit with L.A.

The 70's might not fare well but it's imo the best decade for the genre. 2000's became too watered down near the end of the decade to keep my interest. So the love wouldn't be there.

The Middle is an auto W for me. Keep that on the list.

Yeah, I'm also biracial, so I grew up with the best of both worlds. There was just as much Rock and Folk played as there was R&B and Funk. It's the same in my household now.
