Who knew walking could be a full time job
daft punk had a few good albums in the 2000s and people lose their minds
i feel like Discovery is one of those albums where I can't be objective about it cuz i have so much nostalgia attached and may have listened too much. it was my first favorite album ever but at this point its lost a lot of the magic. still think its great but like.. an all time masterpiece? hell no
This template will never get old
@Extraterrestrial don't forget kodak dropped, first track fye

Was it an album that you grew out of eventually? That's a great album no lie, it's probably still their best album
I get what they meant legacy wise cause Daft Punk is pretty iconic but electronic hasn't been at the forefront since the early 2010s with that whole Avicci/Zedd/Skrillex wave
And the irony is that Skrillex is finally back and bringing relevance back with Fred Again and they shoot it down immediately and just hate on him
Like if they truthfully want a successor to Daft Punk they can't just hate on it

Never was
I feel the exact same way cosmogramma is his perfect album still
people were coming at me crazy in the daft punk thread but like there's been so much great electronic since then
UTQC is great though
I’m a daft punk Stan so I’m not gonna weigh in I’m biased but I think lowkey his albums are getting worse the more indulgent they get I could be wrong tho
You’re Dead is pretty sick but I didn’t care for Flamma at all

Will never be another Daft Punk it’s impossible and that’s okay
That's what I mean though, like Electronic music just isn't as popular as it was
It's just hard to want another legendary artist that makes that kind of music
Ur taste stinks
You’re notorious for bad taste

Yeah I see what you mean that's understandable

see this is the crazy thing, its been elevated onto a status now where people look at you crazy if you say you think its great just not GOAT
lets take it down a notch and just say its one of the best electronic/dance albums of its era and not some crazy s*** like one of the best pieces of art ever
