Joseph was more entertaining and the other characters were cooler
Id give it a 7/10 phantom blood was like a 5.5/10 (sucked until the end really)
Hoping for more of a story than "we must kill the really strong guy" though

Yep they get better as they go, Araki improves his skills as a writer each time and really starts to figure out what works with his stories. Part 3 is another “We gotta kill the guy” part, but it IS much more interesting bc it ties stuff up from the last 2, forming a neat lil trilogy. It’s also presented in a different format than the first 2 despite the general idea being the same, and the stands really introduce new life into the series as a power system
