For a gift Gucci or Versacedepends on what you're buying neither are my fav brands for anything and are moderately tacky for me
but gucci has more options at a better price. Versace is all pretty overpriced for clothing unless you're looking at like glasses, bath robes or small accessories

I've owned a few pairs of Versace frames over the years I'd go for Versace never owned a Gucci set of glasses. LV have good quality glasses too if you need a backup brand
